Full body - Any area that can be waxed, can be sugared!

How is it different from waxing?

Is it painful?

How long does my hair need to be?

FAQ'S

We recommend 10-14 days of hair growth, aprox. the length of a grain of rice. But, not longer than 1/2 inch. Why? Hair that is too short cannot be removed thoroughly. Hair that is too long can be more painful to remove and increase your treatment time.

FAQ'S

Because we are removing hair from the root, there is going to be some level of pain that will vary depending on the person. But, sugaring is not hot and is removed in the direction of growth. This exfoliates the skin less, and makes treatment more comfortable.

FAQ'S

Wax is a resin that is hot and uses a stick for application and a strip for removal in the opposite direction of growth. Sugaring is warmed to body temperature, is removed in the direction of growth and is all natural and more gentle on the skin.

SUGARING

Facial

2 weeks before - Make sure any injections are done at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

One week before - Hold off on sugaring waxing, shaving etc for 5-7 days before your facial. Your skin needs that recovery time to be ready for your treatment. Full face sugaring, schedule a week before or after your facial. Stop prescription retinol 1 week before your appointment. Over-the-counter retinol, 3 days.

3-5 DAYS BEFORE
Hold the exfoliation - Stop exfoliants 3 days before your appointment. This includes AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, and especially retinol/retinoids.

No sun exposure - Avoid the sun 3-5 days before your appointment. Wear SPF and a hat, always! If you arrive with a sunburn, you will not be able to receive your treatment as the skin is healing.

DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
Dress comfy - Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. We don't care what you're wearing! You will be asked to remove your top and wear a facial wrap so that we can treat your face, neck and décolleté.

When possible, arrive bare-faced - Coming in with a clean face means we get to spend ALL our precious time on that amazing treatment rather than makeup removal. If you're coming from work, no problem! We can absolutely remove your makeup.

Grow hair — Please allow 10-14 days of hair growth, or about the length of a rain of rice for treatment.

Hold the exfoliation — Exfoliation is key between appointments to maintain smooth skin, but please don't exfoliate 48 hours before or after your appointment. This includes AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, and especially retinol/retinoids.

Hydration - Keep the skin hydrated before and after your appointment for skin health and the most effective treatment.

No sun exposure - Avoid the sun 3-5 days before your appointment. Wear SPF and a hat, always! If you arrive with a sunburn, you will not be able to receive your treatment as the skin is healing

Bikini/Brazilian — Please arrived showered and with clean underwear to wear post-treatment if desired.

Important post care — Avoid exercise, swimming, sauna, sun exposure and sex (bikini / brazilian) for 48 hours after treatment. This keeps the treated area dry and clean.
